">About the Role
">We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at Auto Skills UK. The successful candidate will have prior experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment and will be required to hold a valid HGV licence.
">Key Responsibilities
">The HGV Technician will be responsible for routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards, preparing and presenting vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection, diagnosing vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment, maintaining good housekeeping and health and safety requirements, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
">Salary and Benefits
">The estimated salary for this role is £42,484 per annum, plus overtime opportunities. Additional benefits include time and a half pay for overtime worked after 40 hours, double time on Sundays and bank holidays, 25 days (rising to 30) holiday plus bank holidays, cycle to work scheme, extended maternity and paternity leave, and strong development opportunities.

">To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a related field, such as City & Guilds or NVQ.
