About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Accounting and Reporting Specialist to join our finance team at Tate. The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial tasks, including preparing and presenting financial reports, managing project accounting, and maintaining the fixed assets register.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present monthly management reports on revenue and overheads.
  • Deliver weekly sales and order book reports to key stakeholders.
Project Accounting:
  • Manage project accounting for all subcontract and application projects where revenue is recognized based on % of completion.
  • Post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and deferred revenue.
  • Maintain the fixed assets register and post monthly depreciation in line with company policy.
Business Partnering:
  • Prepare, present, and support medical department with monthly financial actuals vs targets.
Requirements:
  • Studying or desire to study for professional qualification.
  • Proactive attitude and keen to learn.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience in using IFS system would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
Salary:

£45,000 per annum.
