Job Title: Head of Apprenticeship Provision

Location: East Coast College

Hours: Full Time - 37 hpw

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Band M - £44,000.00 to £49,500.00 FTE (dependent on qualifications and experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a confident and dedicated Head of Department for our Apprenticeship provision to offer a focused and firm commitment to standards and apprentice achievement.

As a driven manager who is familiar with Apprenticeships and associated Ofsted, Levy, and ESFA standards and requirements, your experience of managing processes and leading people/colleagues in their ability to fulfill their part of the journey for our 650 Apprentices will be vital.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a team of staff across 9 vocational areas
  • Maintaining and growing relationships with staff to ensure effective communication and compliance
  • Ensuring apprentice recruitment, qualification updates, expectations, and compliance are communicated and robustly monitored
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience and knowledge of inspection regimes and reporting
  • Ability to analyze and implement appropriate actions
  • Knowledge of Further Education quality assurance requirements
  • Collaborative and inclusive style of work
