We are seeking a highly skilled Support Worker to join our team in Weymouth, working with students who require Behavioural Intervention.
This Support Worker role offers a competitive salary of £25-£30 per hour and requires a dedicated professional to support students' social and emotional development in a local secondary school.
About the Job:
The Support Worker will work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement behaviour support plans, promoting positive behaviour and social skills among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing behaviour support plans to ensure effective management of challenging behaviours.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students to help them understand and manage their emotions and behaviours.
- Collaborating with teaching staff to develop tailored behaviour intervention strategies.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience working with students with behavioural challenges.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
