As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading by example and motivating your colleagues to deliver exceptional food quality and customer service. Your ability to run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stepping into the Head Chef's shoes whilst they're away, running the kitchen and leading the team to deliver exceptional food, whilst ensuring maximum profitability.
  • Maintaining a high level of food quality and presentation, adhering to our strict specifications and guidelines.
  • Planning and coordinating kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Developing and implementing new menu ideas and concepts to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the highest quality ingredients and products.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and management.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Passion for food and commitment to delivering exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
