Job Overview

This role involves supporting the teaching staff at Potters Bar Clinic School in delivering education to young people aged 13–18.

The ideal candidate will have relevant education-related qualifications and previous experience working with children in a school setting. They will also possess excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills, as well as hobbies/interests/skills that contribute to a wide curriculum offering.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work with young people who have SEMH needs and/or SEN, identifying and implementing interventions to ensure students engage in lessons and make progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in lesson planning and delivery
  • Preparing materials and resources for lessons
  • Encouraging pupil engagement and promoting learning, behaviour, and social skills progression
