About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major international development program, influencing design decisions early in the lifecycle from a PHUMS perspective. The role involves working with customers and suppliers to define the requirements and specifications for PHUMS, applying the latest engineering standards and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customer and industry subject matter experts to elicit, understand, and capture user and system requirements for PHUMS systems.
  • Contribute to the development of concepts and philosophies for how PHUMS will be implemented, managed, and delivered end-to-end.
  • Support the design, development, and specification of PHUMS requirements, overseeing implementation and mobilisation as the program transitions to the in-service phase.
  • Help develop strategies and plans throughout the lifecycle for the implementation of the PHUMS solution.
  • Ensure PHUMS integration with other product and service areas, such as IT, digital, and physical infrastructure, and interfaces with the air platform.
Requirements:

Essential:

  • HND Level 5 or Degree in a relevant engineering field (or demonstrable professional experience in similar roles).
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g. MooD, CAMEO, SysML, MagicGrid).

Desirable:

  • Understanding of Diagnostic, Prognostic, Health, and Usage Monitoring technologies and techniques.
  • Experience generating requirements and specifications for both airborne and ground-based systems.
What We Offer:

Competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave, and a Company-contributed Share Incentive Plan. Additional benefits include flexible working, an employee assistance program, Cycle2work, employee discounts, and eligibility for annual incentives.
