Leonardo is seeking an experienced Electronics Inspector to join our team. This role involves inspecting complex devices to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent inspection skills and a strong understanding of IPC-610 standards. As an Electronics Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and contributing to the success of our company.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a cleanroom environment, using high-power microscopes, and adhering to health and safety protocols. They will also be conversant with raising quality notifications and coordinating production equipment.

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes a pension scheme, flexible working hours, employee assistance program, and access to online courses via Coursera.

Key responsibilities:

  • Inspect complex devices to ensure they meet IPC-610 standards
  • Work in a cleanroom environment using high-power microscopes

Requirements:

  • Experience as an electronics inspector or similar role
  • Strong understanding of IPC-610 standards
  • Excellent inspection skills
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
  • Conversant with raising quality notifications

Preferred qualifications:

  • Current IPC certificates in J-Std-001, IPC 610
  • Experience with microwave circuitry
  • Previous experience in military and aerospace products
