About the Role:

As an Environmental Risk Management Lead at CBRE, you will oversee the creation and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs for clients. This role is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. The primary responsibility is to develop and execute organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities.

  • Provide formal supervision to employees, ensuring their training and development meet company standards. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching, driving consistency and efficiency in Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives.
  • Review operational and safety risks, executing strategic risk management strategies to prevent potential incidents.
  • Serve as the point of contact for government agencies, professional health, safety, and environmental organizations, community advisory boards, company health, safety, and environmental officers, and internal safety efforts.
  • Inform senior management about health, safety, and environmental issues, compliance, trends, performance, and concerns.
  • Evaluate and ensure regulatory compliance across all accounts.
  • Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers that impact departmental and cross-functional performance.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is desired.
  • Ability to lead sensitive, complicated, and difficult information exchange, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
