About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement and Sustainability Manager to join our team at Betfred. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability agenda and ensuring the effective management of our procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Strategy and Operations
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our business objectives and sustainability goals.
    • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company policies.
    • Monitor and analyze procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Sustainability and ESG
    • Lead the development and implementation of our ESG strategy, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive ESG initiatives and achieve sustainability goals.
    • Monitor and report on ESG performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous improvement.
  • Supplier Management
    • Manage a portfolio of suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with company standards.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
    • Monitor and report on supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and sustainability roles, preferably in the retail or gaming industry.
    • Experience managing indirect procurement categories, such as IT, marketing, and professional services.
    • Strong negotiation skills and proven experience in managing tenders and contract negotiations.
    • Deep understanding of ESG principles and practices.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
