Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

Platform Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery to find an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding design team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop highly robust and thoroughly tested design solutions
  • Lead development on new projects
  • Produce concept designs, pneumatic designs, and assembly drawings
  • Own product development and develop and test new technologies
  • Machine setup, testing, and demonstration

Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical schematic design
  • Previous experience taking a product from concept to production
  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems in automation
  • Special purpose machinery/capital equipment industry experience
  • Design machine modules and frames
  • Hands-on and practical

Benefits:

The salary will be between £50,000-£55,000 depending on experience, and a generous benefits package is available, including bonus, healthcare, and good pension.
