Geography Teacher

Step Teachers is currently seeking an experienced Geography Teacher to join a reputable Secondary School located north of Witney. This challenging opportunity starts immediately and offers the potential for extension beyond the initial period.

This dynamic role requires a teacher with strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum, organised and professional maintenance of the classroom environment, and effective collaboration with colleagues across departments. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and plan engaging lessons aligned with the school's policies.

To excel in this position, candidates must possess:

• A valid QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Recent mainstream experience as a Geography Teacher, preferably within a Secondary School setting
• Excellent classroom management skills and a good understanding of behaviour management strategies
• A relevant degree in Geography or a related Humanities field is desirable
• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) would be advantageous
