Questar III BOCES seeks a highly skilled Information Technology (IT) Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and support services. This full-time position is responsible for directing and managing the IT helpdesk staff, coordinating helpdesk and support operations, and managing school district IT-related services, customer relations, and IT staff. Key responsibilities include user account creation and maintenance, remote online support, computer system and software maintenance and repair, vendor management, and technical training for staff, users, and district personnel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field, and two years of experience involving LAN and WAN-based environments.
  • B) Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field, and four years of experience involving LAN and WAN-based environments.
  • C) Six years of experience involving LAN and WAN-based environments.
