About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at CRH. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the European market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the European market, with a focus on expanding our presence in Denmark, Poland, and Romania.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand customer needs and preferences, and develop targeted sales strategies to meet those needs.
  • Channel Partner Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our channel partners, providing training and support to ensure they are equipped to meet customer needs.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate predictions of sales revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a regional business strategy, aligned with the company's overall commercial objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of post-graduation work experience in business development, with a proven track record of success in generating sales in international markets.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the water industry, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
