Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and managing geo-environmental and geotechnical ground investigation projects for external clients and internal teams.
  • Oversight of ground investigations and completion of groundwater and gas monitoring.
  • Soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards, including laboratory scheduling.
  • Geotechnical analysis and design assistance.

Requirements:

  • BEng or BSc in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geoscience, Environmental Science, or similar.
  • Desirable: further degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics, or Environmental Science.
  • Registered with a suitable professional body (e.g. Geol Soc, CIWEM, ICE).
  • Basic understanding of geology, ground investigation works, engineering geology, and geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering.
  • UK driver's license is essential.
