Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to groups of children, promoting teamwork and a conducive learning environment.
  • Focus on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths and improving their weaknesses.
  • Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Keep track of children's progress and report back to parents.

Our school is a 4-form entry school located in a lovely residential area. We have a friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms. We aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through our supportive pastoral environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (Experienced teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • Ability to commute to Stanwell via public transport.
  • Confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behavior in line with school behavior policies.
