We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Game Tester to join our team at Universally Speaking Limited. As a Game Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our games by identifying and reporting linguistic bugs.
Key Responsibilities- Test games and applications to ensure linguistic accuracy and correctness
- Check in-game text for cultural relevance and adherence to industry standards
- Collaborate with developers to ensure effective testing and support of all project features
- Document testing practices, LQA process, and reporting methods
- Actively participate in test requirement gathering and continuous improvement
- Expert-level proficiency in Hungarian
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- Passion for video games and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive, tenacious, and enthusiastic approach
- Good computer skills, including MS Office Suite
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading
- Working knowledge of CAT tools (MemoQ)
- Knowledge of the video game industry and trends
