About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GPU Modeling Engineer to join our team at Apple Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance software simulators for Graphics Processing Units (GPUs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing C/C++ code to build high-performance functional simulators of advanced GPU designs
  • Leveraging parallel, concurrent, and multi-threading knowledge to ensure optimal simulator performance
  • Proposing software modeling approaches for new design specifications
  • Investigating functional correctness issues and simulation performance bottlenecks
  • Implementing and debugging binary translation
  • Designing and implementing high-efficiency GPU memory management units
  • Developing Python automation scripts for continuous integration testing and code auto-generation

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience is also acceptable.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 per year
