Senior Draftsperson

MCG Construction is seeking a highly skilled CAD Design Engineer to join their team based in Rochester. This permanent role offers a competitive salary and excellent opportunities for growth and development.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 2D & 3D CAD drawings for construction and industrial projects, including profile drawings for CNC cutting and detailed workshop manufacturing drawings. They will also develop concept drawings for tenders and client presentations, perform material take-offs, and prepare material lists for pricing and procurement.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience in the roofing/cladding sector
* Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
* Strong understanding of construction and industrial drawing standards
* Experience in creating CNC profile drawings and workshop manufacturing drawings
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
