About the Role:As a Passenger Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of passengers with disabilities and sensory impairments. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting passengers with disabilities and sensory impairments in a safe and caring manner.
- Providing care duties associated with transport services, such as assisting passengers to prepare for their journey and ensuring their safety and comfort while on the vehicle.
- Working as part of a team to deliver the service and operating the vehicle tailgate-lift during the boarding and alighting of passengers in wheelchairs.
- Ensuring the safe application of wheelchair clamps and straps and other specialist equipment.
- Completing records as required by Integrated Transport procedures.
