Job Title: Care Professional - Epsom Supported Living
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Professional to join our team at Accordia Care, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors in our supported living service on Reigate Road, Epsom.
Salary: £11.90 per hour (overtime rate of £12.40)
Location: Reigate Road, Epsom KT17
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and patient individual to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing person-centered care and support to our service users. As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, promoting independence, and enhancing the overall quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
- Assess and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that needs are met and goals are achieved
- Provide emotional support, guidance, and encouragement to service users, promoting confidence and self-esteem
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A strong understanding of adult social care principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to person-centered care and values-based practice
- The ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
- Relevant qualifications and experience in health and social care
