Job Description

Akari Care Limited is a provider of award-winning care homes focused on creating an environment where residents are valued, respected, and offered personalized care. We seek a Residential Hygiene Coordinator who is passionate about making a real and positive difference in the lives of older people.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the care home, collaborating with the domestic and laundry teams. A caring nature, flexibility, and solution-oriented approach are essential requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in residents' rooms and communal areas
  • Working with the domestic and laundry teams to ensure a clean and healthy environment
  • Continually assessing the domestic needs of all residents
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar environment
  • A caring nature with a personal approach
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
