EHS Director

As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for leading our site's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the EHS team and overseeing the implementation of EHS policies and procedures
• Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Developing and implementing training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills
• Investigating accidents and incidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Collaborating with senior management to drive a positive EHS culture and promote a culture of safety
• Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in EHS management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline
• Professional certifications, such as NEBOSH, IEMA, or IOSH
• Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Has a strong understanding of statistical methods and practices
• Is able to use intermediate-level IT skills
• Has the flexibility to work in other locations, including internationally, if required
