Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Ramp Technician to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft on the ramp.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of customer-oriented operations associated with flight ramp activities and VIP transportation.
  • Maintain fuel supplies and perform aircraft fueling requirements according to established procedures.
  • Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations.
  • Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions).
  • Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures. Participate in 5-S activities.
  • Perform work in a safe and timely manner.
  • Transport aircraft on ramp and position in hanger.
  • Perform aircraft movements.
  • Perform service on aircraft lavatory and potable water.
  • Perform all related aircraft fueling / de-fueling activities.
  • Clean hanger floor and related hanger areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Assist in training other employees.
  • Perform light cleaning of aircraft.
  • Service aircraft convenience items.
Requirements
  • Line Service experience or substantiated similar experience within Aviation.
  • Good customer service skills to meet internal and external customer needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements such as local airport authority safety and security policies.
  • General familiarization of aircraft safety practices.
  • Forklift qualified.
  • Fuel Safety qualified.
  • Fuel truck operator qualified.
  • Ground Support Equipment qualified.
  • Tug qualified.
