Recruit4staff is proud to be representing a leading energy company in their search for a skilled Field Service Technician to cover the Reading/Basingstoke/Slough area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Repairing and maintaining industrial batteries, chargers, and associated equipment for load handling equipment such as forklifts.
  • Liaising closely with Key Accounts to carry out repairs and services as required.
  • Performing battery topping, cleaning, and maintenance on customer premises.
  • Providing shift cover for sickness and holiday support.
  • Submitting job sheets and reports to head office on a weekly basis.
  • Working closely with the service department to plan and schedule jobs and prioritize urgent callouts.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A formal qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
  • Knowledge of forklift batteries and chargers would be an advantage.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
