Design Engineer

Keltbray Infrastructure Services is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to lead the technical aspects of overhead lines and associated equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, creating, preparing, modifying or contributing to designs, as well as arranging for or instructing others to do such work. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering engineering solutions from feasibility to detailed engineering design for Electricity Transmission Projects.

  • Assess engineering documentation, feasibility, and compliance with client requirements and support the preparation of accurate budgets for new projects.
  • Evaluate Overhead Line designs, equipment, and construction practices to ensure they align with current legislation, policies, and operational requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Extensive experience in electrical transmission systems, including design, planning, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, particularly Health and Safety and CDM.

An estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum reflects the company's commitment to attracting top talent in this field.
