We are seeking two full-time Teaching Assistants to join our schools in Okehampton.

Both roles are SEND-focused, with one position in a SEND school and the other in a mainstream primary school with a 1:1 SEND role.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized guidance and support to students as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.
  • Foster a nurturing environment that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.
  • Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement effective interventions to address behavior challenges and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication abilities to ensure clear interactions.
  • Applicants holding a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle will be prioritized.
