The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Physiologist Led Diagnostic Expert to join our Echo Service team. This part-time position requires someone who can work independently, conducting diagnostic tests, analysing complex data, and producing highly complex reports recognised to BSE standards. Your primary responsibilities will include providing a comprehensive diagnostic service within echocardiography, supporting the delivery of specialist echocardiography services, and offering a Physiologist-led diagnostic service for GP direct access referrals.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct diagnostic tests independently within echocardiography
  2. Support the delivery of specialist echocardiography services, including transoesophageal, bubble, contrast, and stress echocardiography
  3. Offer a Physiologist-led diagnostic service for GP direct access referrals, submitting autonomous reports directly to the GP with recommendations for patient care when necessary
