Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Funding Systems Support Officer to join our team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of SEN funding, working closely with the finance team and SEND QA Manager to deliver exceptional results.

Main Duties
  1. Financial Support: Deliver high-quality financial support to the SEND Service, ensuring timely and accurate financial decisions are made.
  2. Funding Process Enhancement: Collaborate with the finance team to identify areas for process enhancement, implementing changes to improve our services for SEN pupils.
  3. Collaboration and Data Maintenance: Work closely with the SEND QA Manager, maintaining accurate budget monitoring data and collaborating on budget planning and forecasting.
  4. SEN Funding Oversight: Ensure accurate SEN pupil placement and funding data for all pupils, overseeing funding and payments to schools, parents, and independent providers.
About You
  1. Background in SEN Funding: Possess a solid background in SEN funding, with an understanding of finance processes that directly support SEND service outcomes.
  2. Finance Systems Knowledge: Be proficient with finance systems like Oracle Planning & Budgeting and confident in maintaining accurate budget data.
  3. Organizational Abilities: Demonstrate adeptness at managing complex funding streams and payments for service providers, keeping SEN pupil placement and funding information up-to-date and consistent.
  4. Process Optimization: Bring a proactive, improvement-oriented approach to finance processes, enhancing workflows to support the SEND team in delivering top-notch service.

This role offers a competitive salary of £28 per hour, umbrella company rates applied, along with opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
