Mobile Caretaker

We are seeking an experienced Caretaker to join our Estate Services team in the West Midlands. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for providing an excellent caretaking service, including communal cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning doors and windows.

This role will involve lone working, but you will join a wider team of Caretakers and provide cover to other schemes when required.

• Undertake general caretaking duties, including cleaning communal areas, removing bulk waste, and tidying bin stores
• Carry out grounds maintenance tasks, including litter picking and general upkeep
• Work with customers to resolve issues and improve services
• Complete all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed
• Maintain tools and equipment in a suitable condition

• Experience in a similar role or completing similar tasks
• British Institute Certificate in Cleaning Services (BICS) would be advantageous
• Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• Flexible with good communication and customer care skills
• A full valid UK driving licence is required for this role
