Join Our Team as an Embedded Software Engineer Intern

The Innovation & Technology team at Schneider Electric is seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer Co-Op to contribute to the development of the Edge Software program. As a member of our dynamic and Agile team, you will work on cutting-edge technologies for the Industrial Automation Business.

Your Mission
  • Research and investigate on-promise system management and Edge workload orchestration, performance testing and analysis, and application development for resource-constraint devices.
  • Contribute to the development of the Edge Software ecosystem using C, C++, GO, and Docker.
What Qualifications Will Make You Successful?
  • Current enrollment in a BA/BS program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or directly related field required.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python.
  • Experience with Software/Embedded Software Development on Linux environment.
  • Experience with GIT, CI/CD processes, and DevOps.
  • Strong curiosity about unfamiliar technologies and deep desire of learning new advancements.
  • Ability to understand product requirements and design possible solutions.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week based in Andover, MA, starting January 2025, for 6-8 months.
