Key Responsibilities:

To contribute to the achievement of local authority targets regarding statements of Inclusion, Education Health and Care plans, and make an effective contribution to other Council targets, including raising the achievement of pupils identified with SEN and promoting Inclusion within schools and settings across the borough.

Key Tasks:

  • Monitor SEN provision according to quality standards both nationally and those of the authority for individual pupils with SEN.
  • Provide advice, support and challenge where appropriate on issues related to efficient and effective inclusive education practices for pupils with SEN.
