Contract Environmental Manager

Costain Defence and Nuclear Energy Sector has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Environmental Manager to join our successful team based in Manchester.

We are providing management and engineering expertise to a client within the Nuclear Fuels Sector, managing an integrated Contract Management Office for the planning and delivery of over 40 projects in a five-year period. As a Contract Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of each project on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a diverse project that is critical to the nuclear infrastructure. You will work within an integrated team at the client's premises for the programme management and delivery roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage environmental permitting and compliance for the project.
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure environmental considerations are integrated into project planning and delivery.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of environmental-related experience.
  • Environmental permitting experience.
