Electrical Commissioning Specialist

Astute is seeking a highly skilled C&I Commissioning Technician to join our team on a 4-month initial contract for an Open Cycle Gas Turbine plant based in South Wales.
About the Role:- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, having a can-do attitude with an eye for identifying and recommending maintenance improvement opportunities.
- Actively contribute to the safe, efficient and cost-effective running of the OCGT plant.
- Required to work at height and work in confined spaces.
- Able to work with Computers with sound knowledge of the suite of Microsoft Office products.
- Flexible approach to hours of work, particularly during plant outages when weekends, nights and bank holidays will have to be worked.
- Day-to-day communication with the Lead C&I Commissioning Engineer.
- Experience working within the Power Industry as a C&I Commissioning Technician.
- Collaborate with the Lead C&I Commissioning Engineer to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities and improvements.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Minimum 4 months' experience as a C&I Commissioning Technician in the Power Industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude.
- A competitive daily rate of £350.00.

Based on market rates and location, the estimated salary range for this position is between £13,300 and £14,400 per month.
