Health, Safety & Environmental Manager

£40,000 - £48,000

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is working with an established Manufacturer who has sustained growth for over 10 years. With continued investment, they are now looking to recruit for a HSE Manager.

Reporting to: Site Director

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Line Managers to conduct thorough risk assessments and offer risk reduction recommendations.
  2. Analyse health & safety training needs, maintain training records, and ensure refresher training completion.
  3. Conduct monthly site inspections, report findings, and recommend improvements.
  4. Take charge of reporting RIDDOR-classified incidents to the HSE and manage follow-up actions.
  5. Prepare and manage ISO Environmental surveillance audits or regulatory inspections.
  6. Maintain accurate site accident data for Group accident reports and identify trends for improvement.
  7. Support Site Operations Manager/Director by facilitating site health & safety committee meetings.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in Health & Safety Managerial role with food manufacturing being advantageous.
  2. NEBOSH certificate.
