Job Description

As a Consolidations Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our group's financial reports. You will be responsible for managing the preparation of consolidation journals and eliminations, schedules, and disclosure notes for quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation of consolidation journals and eliminations, schedules, and disclosure notes for quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS.
  • Collaborate with financial controllers/managers to review results submitted by subsidiaries and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare internal financial reports and provide commentary to senior management and external auditors.

Requirements:

  • A Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA) with at least 3 years of post-qualified experience in group finance and consolidations.
  • Excellent understanding of IFRS and experience in preparing group consolidated statutory accounts, individual entity accounts, and disclosure notes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
