About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Pinetree Lodge, supporting older adults with dementia. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centered care, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including washing, dressing, and assisting with eating and drinking.
  • Observe and listen to residents and their families to identify unmet needs and develop strategies to minimize the impact of challenging behaviors.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized care plans and participate in regular reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual with a passion for supporting people with dementia. You will have:

Knowledge and experience of working with people with complex mental health needs.Good social skills and ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families.Ability to recognize and maintain appropriate boundaries and awareness of safeguarding issues.
