Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to develop and implement procurement strategies and policies. The ideal candidate will conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
- Anticipate unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
Requirements
- CAPEX experience
- Proven working experience within an indirect procurement function
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
- Experience in collecting and analysing data
