About the Role
We are working with an established regional main contractor who has been operating across the South West and M4 corridor for over 50 years and has opened a new office near Winchester. They are now looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team.
About the Company
The company has been a real success story over the last decade, continuing to grow in a managed, controlled, and sensible manner. They have additional opportunities to work with both repeat existing and new clients who want to work with them.
About the Projects
They operate in the commercial, industrial, education, and local authority worlds on schemes up to £30 million in the Dorset, Hampshire, and West Sussex areas. This means all local projects working with local clients and local trusted supply chain.
About the Responsibilities
The role involves working with the pre-construction teams and directors at contract award stages to work on procurement and initial cost planning. You will then take on site to manage the packages, site financial matters such as payments, valuations, variation accounts, CVRs, forecasting, and planning multiple projects. You will be asked to look after multiple projects and junior members of the team.
