Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Claire's in Nottingham. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in driving sales and profit, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a well-organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Profit: Drive and achieve retail store targets by implementing effective sales strategies and managing inventory levels.
- Customer Service: Deliver the finest level of customer service by providing a personalized shopping experience and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by ensuring that all areas are tidy and well-stocked.
- Commerciality: Ensure that your store is well-merchandised and commercially correct by analyzing sales data and making informed decisions about product placement and promotions.
- Team Leadership: Assist the Store Manager in training and coaching the store team to enhance their skills and career development.
- Ear Piercing: Receive full training on ear piercing procedures and provide a safe and enjoyable experience for customers.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year retail management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- A sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
- The ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem-solve
- The ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
- The ability to operate a POS system
