Logistics Engineering Manager

A luxury Automotive OEM is seeking an experienced Logistics Engineering Manager to lead their logistics engineering team. This is a short-term role covering the early concept phases of a large-scale logistics project. We are looking for a proven logistics leader with broad knowledge of logistics engineering solutions, processes, systems, and equipment, as well as the latest market trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logistics engineering solutions to support the company's new vehicle programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop logistics requirements and material flow strategies.
  • Design and improve processes for moving material throughout the factory and warehouse.
  • Contribute to the development of layout plans for decks, marketplaces, and lineside.
  • Establish business requirements, engage with stakeholders, and present sound logistics engineering solutions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing logistics.
  • Broad knowledge of logistics engineering solutions, processes, systems, and equipment.
  • Experience in project management and process improvement.
  • Strong IT skills and Microsoft package elements.
  • CAD skills to create and maintain lineside layout drawings.
