Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Improvement Lead to join our team at our Southampton Service Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving quality and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring our services meet the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality procedures to drive a culture of excellence within the Service Centre.
- Lead the management of regional quality system requirements, customer requirements, and third-party audit requirements, including supplier quality management, customer feedback, and non-conformance management.
- Analyse non-conformance and root cause trends, implementing improvements to reduce the cost of poor quality and increase customer satisfaction.
- Lead LEAN and continuous improvement projects and activities, working closely with the Service Centre management team to implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Own the internal audit programme and support external audits for the Service Centre, analysing results to identify areas for focused improvement activities.
Requirements
- A formal qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field, and/or relevant experience within a related industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience with adherence to ISO9001 standards.
- Proven experience in managing a quality management system.
- Comprehensive understanding of advanced Quality, LEAN, and Problem-Solving Tools/Techniques.
- Skills in supplier conformance management and development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
