We are seeking a dedicated Early Years SEN Support Specialist to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As an SEN specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting early development and supporting children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive atmosphere for all children by providing individualized support and adapting your approach to meet their diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to create personalized education plans that outline specific goals and strategies.
  • Engage in daily activities that promote social interaction and emotional wellbeing, helping children develop essential social skills.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and encourages participation.
  • Monitor and document children's progress, providing feedback to the teaching team to inform future planning.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with young children, especially those with special educational needs, is preferred.
  • A creative, patient, and caring approach to early childhood education is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities are crucial.
  • A current and clear Enhanced DBS check is required.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
