Role Overview

Our Coventry factory is one of our biggest snacks manufacturing sites in the UK, producing well-known brands like Doritos and Wotsits. As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll ensure the smooth running of production equipment using your electrical and mechanical expertise.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant equipment.
  • Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance tasks using electrical, control system, and mechanical engineering skills.
  • Support site projects and initiatives, and coach the Manufacturing Technician group to develop their technical skills.
  • Coordinate contractors and contracts, issuing permits to work and reviewing risk assessments.

Requirements

  • Indentured time-served engineering apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification, with strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Strong team player with a continuous improvement approach.
