XPO is seeking a skilled Transport Administrator/Planner to join our team at our Kegworth site. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the booking of inbound and outbound loads, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Coordinate with drivers, hauliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Monitor and maintain the yard management system, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of shipments.
  • Plan and allocate work to hauliers, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing delays.
  • Run operational reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a transport office operation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel and experience with transport planning software.
  • Successful track record in communication and building relationships with customers.
  • Experience working with yard and planning management systems.
