Job Title: PPA Cover Teacher

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to provide cover for planned absence (PPA - Planning, Preparation, and Assessment time) of regular classroom teachers in Romford, Greater London. This temporary position requires working full-time hours within the Education and Training industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across different year groups and subjects during teachers' absence.
  • Ensure all work set by the regular classroom teachers is completed by students.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
  • Provide feedback to regular classroom teachers on students' progress.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members as needed.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience working in a similar role within a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training in Special Education or SENCO qualification.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Experience using technology in the classroom.
