We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our partner Primary School in Croydon. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting two pupils in Year 1 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to pupils with SEND, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring that pupils receive a high-quality education.
- Develop and implement strategies to help pupils with challenging behaviors, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that pupils receive comprehensive support and guidance.
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology) and a passion for working with children with SEND.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.
- Experience working with children with SEND, preferably in a school setting.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the pupils.
