Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Modeller to lead one of our hydraulic modelling frameworks for a leading UK Water Company in the South East region.

About the Role:
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the UK Water Industry and regulatory issues, ensuring compliance with standards & specifications.
  • Coordinate and deliver technically excellent projects, utilising your experience in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning and solution development.
  • Ensure the quality of outputs and manage project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Supervise and develop staff, providing guidance to support their professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plan, flood alleviation and environmental solution development projects.
  • Mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning and solution development.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
