Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audiovisual Technologist to join our team at Encore Global. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup and operation of audiovisual systems in an event environment, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

About the Role

  • This position reports to a Technical Supervisor, Technical Manager, Senior Project Manager, or a Technical Events Manager subject to function and region.
  • The ideal candidate will have 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience and 1 year of audio visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Equipment Operation
    • Assist in cleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping, and repairing equipment prior to an event.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise.
    • Comply with all Company security and safety measures.
  2. Customer Service
    • Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
    • Maintains a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication.
  3. Technical Ability
    • Demonstrates basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues.

Salary

£26-27,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Work Environment

Team members will use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components, and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
