Coventry, Coventry, United Kingdom The Good Care Group Ltd Full time

Live-in carers play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to individuals in their own homes. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional support and are looking for a rewarding career, we encourage you to apply for this position with The Good Care Group Ltd.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a live-in carer with a reputable company, providing tailored support to meet the unique needs of our clients. As a live-in carer, you will be matched with a client based on your skills and experience, and any shared interests. This will enable you to build strong relationships and provide the best possible care and companionship.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months' professional care experience in any care setting, such as live-in carer, domiciliary carer, care assistant, support worker, healthcare assistant, or similar. A driver's license is an advantage but not a requirement, as the client provides the car and insurance for occasional trips out or shopping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing tailored support and companionship to meet the individual needs of clients
  • Following a client's individual care plan to deliver a daily average of 6-12 hours of care provision
  • Managing medical conditions such as dementia, stroke, and Parkinson's
  • Assisting with personal care, administering medication, moving and handling, cooking, cleaning, and ensuring the smooth running of the household

We offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus all UK travel expenses covered. We aim to place you with a client within a 50-mile radius of your home to minimize disruption to your time off. Our benefits package includes free DBS for England and free PVG if working in Scotland, funded Blue Light Card, ongoing training and development, face-to-face induction training, local Care Manager support, peer-to-peer support, employee assistance programme, online Carer Community, and 24/7 central team support.
